Abstract. At the present stage, engineering education is undergoing significant transformations driven by rapid digitalization, automation of production processes, and changes in labor market requirements under Industry 4.0. Traditional educational models often fail to ensure the development of a full range of professional, digital, and interdisciplinary competencies required for successful engineering practice.
This article examines innovative and interactive teaching methods, STEM technologies, and modern digital tools as effective means of training future engineers. Particular attention is paid to project-based and problem-based learning, gamification, the use of virtual and augmented reality, learning management systems, and artificial intelligence tools. It is substantiated that the implementation of these approaches enhances student motivation, promotes critical thinking, develops practical skills, and increases readiness for professional self-realization.
